Entire economy of Saurashtra is dependent mainly on agriculture and the agriculture is wholly depended on the rain (natural phenomena). We have experienced that since last many consecutive years the nature has not favoured Saurashtra. One by one natural calamity viz. draught, cyclone, earthquake, scarcity etc. has been experienced by us in last many years and their evil effects have ruined us. In these difficult days when the cooperative banks of Gujarat and Saurashtra are struggling hard to keep their identity, our Bank has made all-round developmet.

We know very well that the expectations of our customers shall now increased manifold. Let us tell you that we are working with a strong team-spirit to satisfy almost all reasonable expectations of our clients and the society, by and large.

Rajkot People’s co-operative Bank has always remained an ambassador in fulfilling social responsibilities. At the time of inception the Bank donated to Kathiawar Nirashrit Balashram (an orphanage) and Andha Mahila Vikas Gruh (Blind Women’s Development House).

Thereafter, at the time of earthquake in Kutch- Bhuj students of 12th science of the affected areas, for whom the year was most important for their future, were accommodated with full facilities by the Bank free of charge including their tuitions to be given by the prominent teachers of Rajkot.

In recent times a “Sharir Samtulan Shibir” was arranged by the Bank and nearly 1000 people availed the benefit. Having come to know about various advantages gained by the participants the Bank has decided to arrange every year at least one such “Shibir “for the benefit of the people.
